Happy Sunday from The Golden State Doodles family!
It is truly hard to believe that Lady’s eight beautiful F1B Goldendoodles are already 13 days old today. We are just one day shy of the two-week mark, and the time is absolutely flying by.
The 13-Day Update: Peeking at the World
This is such a magical stage in their development. Over the last few days, we’ve seen some major milestones. The biggest news? Little eyes are starting to open!
It usually starts with just a tiny corner peephole, and soon they will be blinking up at us with those soulful doodle eyes. They are also finding their legs a bit more, wiggling around the whelping box with much more determination (usually wriggling straight toward Mama Lady for their next meal).
They are growing beautifully, gaining weight right on track, and turning into the plumpest, softest little "potatoes." Lady continues to be an absolutely phenomenal mother, keeping them clean, warm, and very well-fed.
